After serving in the U.S. Space Force and making the transition to a career in tech, I found myself looking for a creative outlet again. Over the years, that’s looked like crazy nail art, painting, interior design, and anything else that gave me an excuse to make something. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with embroidery.

I’ve also always loved giving thoughtful gifts. The kind that feel special, but still have a place in everyday life. Embroidery became the perfect way to bring those two things together.

And then there’s Scooter. He’s our 8-year-old golden retriever & my 24/7 stitching companion + willing bandana model. The real star of the show!

With that, Scooter & Thread was born. A little shop filled with elevated pieces, personalized for the people, pets, homes, and special moments.
